Guest Post - Favorite Spring Fashion Finds

Happy Hump Day everyone; we're halfway there!  Today I'm doing my first ever guest post over at Betsey and Becca.  Please be sure to go check it out, and leave Betsey and Becca a comment on their blog.  They always have such great posts about interior design, and Betsey is even from the Memphis area too.  Becca is from Birmingham, and the two met their freshman year of college and have been best friends ever since!  Today they're doing a guest post for me on their favorite fashion finds for this spring. I hope you love it, and don't forget to enter my giveaway that is running through this Saturday for a free manicure or bottle of Orly Halo nail polish.  That should definitely get you in the spring spirit!

Hi!  We are Betsey and Becca, interior decorators that have been blogging for a few months, but just recently decided to add followers and comments to our blog!  We were thrilled when Laura found us, and are so excited to guest post here for her today.  While we usually talk about all things interior design and d├ęcor, Laura requested that we blog about fashion instead.....so here are a few of our favorite picks for spring!

First up...

This is the perfect transitional piece to layer with your favorite sweaters now and lightweight t-shirts later!  The perfect throw on jacket, J. Crew always gets it right!!

We love this bright and cheery blouse, and the scalloped edge is such a fun and feminine detail.  This one would look so cute with white jeans or shorts, but we love it with jeans now to brighten up the drab winter days.

Tibi is one of our favorite lines, and they definitely got it right with their spring line.  We love long sleeve dresses, and this lavender color is so pretty.

We've long been fans of Tory Burch, and the new spring colors for her Famous flats are perfect with black skinnies now and will fit right into your summer wardrobe later.  (Side note-we love the classic Reva, but these chelsea flats are super comfortable and think this bright blue is a year round staple!)

A pretty and fun clutch is always in season, and this bright purple color is so fun!

Wellies are also always a necessity, but this fun color would make rainy April days easier to bear.  We are proud owners of Navy Hunter boots, and love that they are so neutral, but red is an unexpected choice!  Add these cool cable cuffs to them to make them more wearable in the cooler months.

And what better way to perk yourself up a bit than with a bright mani!  This color would be great for your fingers OR your toes….

These pink earrings make such a statement, Amrita Singh makes the best jewelry.  (And while you’re checking them out-- WinkNyc is a great site with lots of cool jewelry, shoes, etc--check it out!)

And since we are interiors people, don't forget to go ahead and brighten up your home with fresh cut flowers (tulips are our favorite pick for early spring), lightweight throws and brightly patterned pillows and artwork to get you in the spring spirit!!  Here is some inspiration to get you going.....

Thanks so much for having us Laura!! We are definitely not experts on fashion but it was fun to write this post. We hope all your great followers will come follow us over at our blog, too!! (And please contact us at betseyandbecca@gmail.com for portfolio information and references in case you’re looking for some help to spruce up your home. We love to travel if you’re not located in our area, but we can also provide full web design packages!) Happy Monday and Happy Almost-Spring!!

  5. Fun post! I love those red hunter boots. Alas, I live somewhere that they would be completely out of place but I want to wear them everyday anyway.
