Trend Spin Linkup Week 21 - Fur & Wool

Loft Sweater Dress c/o // BCBGeneration Pumps via Marshalls c/o // Linea Pelle Bag c/o (save) // Nixon Watch (save, splurge) // OK1984 Necklace c/o // Stella & Dot Bracelets c/o

Thank you so much for stopping by the Trend Spin Linkup with The Fashion Canvas, Sparkle and Shine On and myself! Today's trend is fur and/or wool!  I absolutely love fur (fake), but I don't have any in my closet.  I don't know how I made it this long without a fur vest, but I need one soon.  Has anyone seen any nice ones that aren't too overpriced?  Since I was furless, I decided to wear wool today.  Wool is very tricky for me.  I have sensitive skin and can only wear some wool items.  It is quite the ordeal to go shopping with me for a new wool coat.  Everything starts itching my skin.  Luckily, this dress from Ann Taylor hasn't bothered me at all, and I've already worn it twice since I got it a few weeks ago (once to work and once to dinner.)  It was one of the last items I bought with my gift card I won from Ann Taylor.  I think this sweater will be a great, go-to dress this winter.

Now it's your turn to show us how you wear fur and wool - a dress, a vest or even some trousers.  It doesn't matter what clothing item it is or where it's from; we'd love to see it.  Here are our top 2 gingham and plaid looks from last week.

Featured Bloggers in Gingham & Plaid

Next Tuesday's trend will be orange and/or black for Halloween, so please come link up!

All bloggers will be able to submit their post links via the inlinkz widget below every Tuesday at 7:00am CST with their take on our trend of the week. This will allow bloggers to show off their personal style, find new followers and meet some great fashionistas! You will also have the chance to be featured on our blogs the following Tuesday! So grab the button (on my sponsor page) and link up. For all bloggers we simply ask that you please follow your 2 hosts and your cohost of the week - Walking in Memphis in High Heels, The Fashion Canvas and Sparkle & Shine On (the first 3 links in the linkup) and provide a link to the Trend Spin Linkup in your post or add the button below to your blog. Don't forget to stop by the The Fashion Canvas and Sparkle & Shine On to see how they wore their trend today too. Then spread the word. Thanks, and see you next week ready for Halloween!

Forever 21 has some great fur vests that are inexpensive.

I have sensitive skin too and can't wear any clothing animal hair. This dress doesn't actually have wool though does it? The Loft website just says polyester and spandex.

It is synthetic and wool like. That is about as close to wool as I can get unless it's a wool coat or skirt and lined. ; )

Love the dress! My wool itches me sometimes too :/ I have a couple of faux fur vests (one long and one short) that I got from Express in past years! I just wait until they have sales (which is often, actually!) and grab them then with their coupons! Otherwise, I see them at H&M and even F21, too! :)

Great dress - I like the baseball like sleeves on this. They have a cute vest at AT now. I was tempted to buy it and remembered that I already have one from last season.

Love those shoes! And I am so jealous that you ladies haven't been forced to give in to wearing tights already, London weather is already too cold!

A baseball tee sweater dress? How fab! And I love Erin's scarf!! So pretty. I fell in love with a fur scarf from Elie Tahari but I can't get past the whole wearing a dead animal thing (oh, and the price tag was like $700).
