Today I am wearing a few of my favorite pieces - the dress, cape, heels, necklace and ring.  Let's go back to the dress.  I have got to share one of my new personal favorite websites Kingdom & State.  It is so hard for me to find work appropriate dresses that are made well, fit well, fit into my budget, are still attractive and have longer sleeves and a longer hemline.  If you've been having the same problem, you have got to check out Kingdom & State.  They sent me this gorgeous panel dress.  I absolutely love the color, design, fit and material.  It is perfect for the office, for church or even for a date night.  I wore mine as is, but it would look great belted too.

I decided to pair the dress with my new Ann Taylor cape (recently worn here on Instagram.)  They also have it in this color too (use promo code ANNMERRY to save 50% off full price items.)  It was regularly $148, but was marked down in stores to $30.  Is that not insane?!  If you've been on a cape kick like me, you'll love the fit and color of this one, so definitely check out your local store to see if they have marked it down even more.  Online it is currently marked down to $65, which is still a great deal!  Thanks for reading; I appreciate it so much!  I'll be back tomorrow with a Christmas party look.

  1. Wow, you look so glamourous! Love the overall combination of the cape and the dress, but that dress is stunning on its own! And I can't get over the fact you you can go out with bare legs and open shoes, lucky you (unless you're really cold, but that doesn't show). Have a great holiday season girl!

  2. Dresses are either way too short or too long (I don't find too many maxis that are nice enough for work), so I'm looking forward to checking out kingdom and state! Thanks!

  3. Looking fab as usual! I have been wanting a cape lately too but haven't found one that didn't look like a blanket on me yet.
