Fall Pastels

Surfdome Skirt c/o // Gap Plaid Blouse // Shoemint Heels (save) // GiGi New York Bag c/o // Benevolent Jewels Necklace c/o // Nixon Watch (save, splurge) // Reece & Blaire Bangles c/o

After I got this plaid top a few weeks ago, I starting thinking about pastels and wanted to style an outfit wearing pieces that are typically reserved more for spring.  We had temperatures in the 70s earlier last week, so it was the perfect time to wear this outfit.  I love pairing plaid and stripes together, and I think this lightweight Surfdome skirt works perfectly for warmer days in the fall.  I think this outfit has a nice, casual, carefree feel to it.  Now it's in the 20s, but it was nice while it lasted.  I guess it's definitely time for the holidays.  I think it is finally starting to sink in that Christmas is almost here (even if I'm dressed like it's spring.)  Do you like to wear pastels in the fall?

Today I want to introduce you to one of my sponsors, Lindsay from Pursuit of Pink.  Lindsay blogs about all things that make her happy - beauty, personal style, home d├ęcor, recipes, organization and more - which lately includes her obsession with her five month old baby.  And yes, her favorite color is pink, so there is plenty of that great color all over her blog!  She is a person who tries hard to stay positive, and I think you will definitely notice that her blog is uplifting to each of her readers.  And how can you not love her with all that animal print in her pictures above?!  = )  Please make sure you stop by and say hello to Lindsay!

Linking up with Tara, Erin, Sharon, Agi, Elle and Bethany.

You look great ! I'm always so afraid to mix patterns but I like seeing others do it because it motivates me! I do love plaid though, I have so many shirts with plaid and flannel!!

Adorable!! Love the plaid and striped together. It would be cute with riding boots too, you know, to avoid frostbitten toes :)
