Fall Fashion

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group®, InStyle, Vogue and Elle, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #inspirefallfashion
What better way to make the work week pass by a little faster than by doing a little lunch break shopping?  Especially with Leighton on the way, Target has become one of my favorite stores to scour at lunchtime.  I picked up a couple items for her while there, but with fall fashion on my mind, I couldn't resist picking up the new September issue of InStyle and Elle magazine for myself.  Right now through September 13 you can buy any two fall fashion magazines (InStyle, Elle or Vogue), and get a $5 Target gift card now.  After flipping through the magazines, I created a look that was inspired by InStyle magazine and perfect for this fall!  I have never been so ready for fall fashion in my life.  I can just see the over-the-knee boots and smell the pumpkin spice candles burning.

Booties were huge last year, and this year is no different.  You will definitely be seeing a lot of them this year, so I had to pull mine out of the back of my closet and get them ready for fall.  Since it is still pretty hot here in Memphis, I did layer some, but only with lightweight layers.  This striped swing dress is perfect for my bump and for that transitional phase from summer to fall.  To make it more fall appropriate, I threw on a gorgeous aztec print kimono.  For fall, be ready for both boots and booties, bold patterns, bold lips, bright colors and as always - layers.  Are you ready for fall?  What are you looking forward to wearing the most this fall?
