Today's outfit is a simple and easy outfit that I have thrown on lately when I am getting ready in a rush and need something comfortable but pulled together. I started with a basic silk blouse and a great fitting pair of jeans, and then I let my shoes and accessories do the talking.  I wore this outfit last weekend when my mom, my sister, Leighton and I went shopping together.  We were having a girls' day, there was snow on the ground, it was cold, and I just wanted something easy to wear to run around in with Leighton.  I think my outfit is the perfect blank canvas to let my new Lily Dilly necklace and bracelet stand out.
What sets Lily Dilly apart is the use of fabric in their designs.  Tina, the owner, has an apparel design background, so she combined the two things she loves very much - fabric and jewelry.  She also wanted to give her customers pieces that are really versatile.  She designs styles that can be worn casually with simple jeans and a tee, or they can be dressed up for work in a more corporate setting.  We've all had those moments in a rush while getting ready and said, "OH NO!!... What do I wear?!"  Well Lily Dilly was created to be that finishing touch.  It can make a rushed outfit look pulled together and effortless, all at the same time.  Perfect for moms on the go!  Tina tries to keep the designs somewhat simple and modern so that the emphasis stays on the fabric.  Their pieces are almost like a piece of art...framed, and yet very wearable.  What is your favorite piece from Lily Dilly?
