Like most moms, I feel like I run around nonstop, never get caught up and don't have much free time. I leave the house at 6:45 in the morning, and I get home from work at 6:00pm. Then it's time to feed Leighton dinner, play and then shower and get ready for bed. I learned long ago that the only way I would get my workout in was to squeeze it in on my lunch break. I get an hour break, and luckily, I work right across from the gym. It is the perfect time for me to run across the street, take a workout class, run outdoors or use the free weights in the gym. Since I use my lunch break for working out, I am always looking for more ways to save time and maximize my workout. This is one of the reasons I love shopping at Dick's Sporting Goods® for my fitness apparel. They have a location near my work, or I can shop online. They have one of the best selections of fitness apparel around. I love Nike, so I love being able to go in store and try on all the different leggings, shorts and sports bras to find the exact style and size I want. I have a few pairs of these Nike Legend leggings, and the fit and feel is amazing. They also have a great selection of apparel that easily transforms from workout to work, like my lightweight sweater from Carrie Underwood's new fitness apparel line, Calia. A lot of their leggings and tights can be worn during your workout, to work or while running errands. Athlesiure wear is the perfect name for it. I feel like this word must have been coined by a mom. Moms are always looking for ways to squeeze in a quick workout if we can, all while looking as comfortable and as pulled together as we can.
I wore this comfy and cute outfit this past weekend while out walking with Leighton in our new jogging stroller. I love how these leggings can easily be paired with a tunic to run errands around town, or the sweater could be paired with jeans for work. There are so many possibilities. I can even wear the sneakers for work on casual Friday. Make sure you come back on Wednesday to see how I transformed my workout outfit for work. As a special treat, I've teamed up with Dick's Sporting Goods to give one lucky reader $50 to go towards their own look that they can wear to workout or work too. To enter, just use the rafflecopter widget below. Good luck! What would you choose from Dick's Sporting Goods if you won? What is your best time saving trick to go from workout to work?
