Trend Spin Linkup - Maxi Dresses & Skirts

Dress (other prints here) c/o // Jacket (old, love this one) // Bag c/o // Sandals c/o // Sunglasses c/o // Watch c/o // Necklace c/o

Thanks for stopping by the Trend Spin Linkup this week!  Today's trend is maxi dresses and skirts.  This is another favorite of mine, especially in the summer.  I know it makes no sense.  The temperatures rise, and the hemline lengthens.  There is just something about a comfy and lightweight maxi dress in the summer though.  I fell in love with this gorgeous maxi from Mud Pie the moment I saw it.  I love the bright pink and orange striped pattern with the flutter sleeve.  It's also also available in a wrap style.  And this same style is available in 2 other pretty prints here too.  Mud Pie is a favorite of mine and Leighton's.  And a lot of their pieces come in coordinating pieces for mom and toddler like these tunics we wore on the blog here last week.  Now it's your turn to show us how you wear it.  Come linkup your favorite maxi dresses and skirts and check out the featured bloggers below!

Featured Bloggers in Off the Shoulder

With 4th of July next month, next Tuesday's theme is red, white and blue so you can all show your take on patriotic style.  All bloggers will be able to submit their post links via the inlinkz widget below every Tuesday at 8:00am CST with their take on our trend of the week.  The linkup runs for 1 week. This allows bloggers to show off their personal style, find new followers and meet some great fashionistas!  You will also have the chance to be featured on our blogs the following Tuesday!  So grab the button (on my Trend Spin Linkup page) and link up.  For all bloggers, we simply ask that you please follow your two hosts and your cohost of the week - myself, The Fashion Canvas and Myriad Musings (the first 3 links in the linkup), and provide a link to the Trend Spin Linkup in your post or add the button here to your blog.  Don't forget to stop by The Fashion Canvas and Myriad Musings to see how she wore the trend today.  See you next Tuesday in red, white and blue for the holiday!

  2. I have never much been into maxi dresses or skirts because I've always hated the way they fall on me. These are gorgeous, and I really love the vibrant colors you guys are wearing. I need to give maxis another try!

  5. But I think the maxis can actually be cooler---at least for us older women who don't wear shorts anymore (I still do, but many of my friends don't). Since they are flowy they aren't hugging your skin like some capris can!!
Your's is so colorful!! I love it!
