5 Summer Beauty Hacks +$50 Costco Gift Card Giveaway!

This post is sponsored by Vocalpoint and P&G.  All opinions are my own.

Summertime is here y'all.  That means it's wedding season and pool season, and it's time to make sure that you're looking and feeling your best as the temperatures rise.  With summer comes stocking up on those P&G summertime beauty essentials from Costco like the Gillette Venus Spa Razor, Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid and Crest 3D White Luxe Glamorous Whitestrips and 1HR Express.  I have been using all 3 of these products for years.  This is the only razor I ever buy, the only way I whiten my teeth each year, and one of my favorite deodorants that I use after working out.  Did you know that can get all these P&G summer essentials from Costco?  And Costco has some great summer savings going on with these products and more right now.

To make sure you get the most out of your beauty products this summer, I have put together my top 5 favorite beauty hacks below.  I've been using these hacks throughout the years, and they are perfect to help you get a great shave, the perfect frizzless hair and a pretty summer glow.

1.)  Use conditioner instead of shaving cream.  It is much more inexpensive, and it will make your legs so much softer.  If you end up nicking yourself, just put chapstick on the cut.
2.)  Fix self tanner gone wrong mistakes by exfoliating with a mixture of baking soda and water.  It will help to wipe away excess tanner and smooth out any orangey places.
3.)  Help fight frizz by mixing 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and 2 tablespoons of avocado oil and spraying on your hair lightly.
4.)  Want to keep your teeth looking white longer?  Drink out of straw when drinking any dark colored drinks that could stain your teeth.  And to whiten your teeth faster, use 2 sets of strips for 15 minutes each everyday.
5.)  If your deodorant crumbles, push all the broken pieces down into the stick.  Then blowdry the stick for about a minute and a half.  That should reset the deodorant to where it is good as new.

P.S.  I've teamed up with Costco today to give away 1 $50 gift card.  To enter, just use the rafflecopter widget below.  Make sure you check out more of Costco's current offers and savings here.  What product can you not live without this summer?  What is your favorite summertime beauty hack?

Shaving cream, sun block and bug spray is all a must since we spend so much time outdoors hiking and swimming. But I love your idea of using conditioner instead of shaving cream. I will definitely try it :)

Use sunscreen and be sure to hydrate your skin and body.

My best beauty Summer tip is to exfoliate because this will help your skin stay smooth and apply self tanner easily and it makes you look so natural with a fake tan.

Sunscreen! And I'm happy to see so many others said the same thing! When I was a teen (in the 90's) I was a lone wolf with my sunscreen -- everyone else was all about the tan!

When I want to refresh my skin in the summer, I spray my face with Avène Thermal Spring Water. It feels so good and calms my skin!

My tip is make your own leave in hair conditioner! I use a small spray bottle and add 1 capfull of conditioner and 3 capfulls of water. I shake it up and spray it on my hair. My hair gets so dry from all the swimming in the summer, and this is so easy to do on vacation too with the sample bottles they leave!

Sunscreen! Also, go lighter with the makeup in summertime-I live in the south and your face starts melting as soon as you walk out , so BB creams and tinted moisturizer is a great way to get coverage without the heaviness. I also use a lot of creme blushes and highlighters to get the glowy look.

Wash hair after swimming with conditioner only to prevent over washing and stripping hair, and apply moisturizer to face frequently.

It's not a super obvious beauty tip but it’s super important! Don’t get so caught up in rushing from one fun summer activity to the next that you don’t take time to relax. If you are always on the go and in a hurry that will start to stress your body out, you won’t eat or hydrate right and that can do way more damage than any cream can undo!
