Trend Spin Linkup - Scarves + 6 Ways to Wear a Blanket Scarf

On Me:  Jeans c/o // Top // Vest c/o // Scarf c/o // Pouch // Watch c/o
On Leighton:  Pants // Tunic // Flats // Bow c/o

Thanks for stopping by the Trend Spin Linkup today.  The theme is scarves.  We've started to have some cooler weather here and there, but soon enough, scarves will be a huge staple in my wardrobe almost every day.  I don't know about y'all, but when I wear scarves I have a habit of only wearing them one or two different ways.  But there are SO many different ways to wear them so I wanted to show my 6 favorite (and easy!) ways to wear them.   I've included pictures so you can see exactly how to tie this pretty plaid blanket scarf.  And if you have any questions, just leave them in the comment section below and I'll be happy to answer!  = )  Leighton and I decided to do a little coordinating last weekend.  I wore these gray skinnies with my new lantern sleeve blouse (love!), my longline vest and this adorable little pouch from Dagne Dover.  Leighton wore her faux leather leggings, this adorable plaid tunic that matches my scarf and some gray lace up flats.  And since then, it's been in the 80's all the week lol!!  Which way is your favorite way to wear a blanket scarf?

Featured Bloggers in Vests

Next week's Trend Spin Linkup is ponchos and capes.  All bloggers will be able to submit their post links via the inlinkz widget below every Tuesday at 12:00am CST (aka midnight on Monday) with their take on our trend of the week.  The linkup runs for 1 week. This allows bloggers to show off their personal style, find new followers and meet some great fashionistas!  You will also have the chance to be featured on our blogs the following Tuesday!  So grab the button (on my Trend Spin Linkup page) and link up.  For all bloggers, we simply ask that you please follow your two hosts and your cohost of the week, myself, The Fashion Canvas and Elegantly Dressed & Stylish (the first 3 links in the linkup), and provide a link to the Trend Spin Linkup in your post or add the button here to your blog.  Don't forget to stop by The Fashion Canvas and Elegantly Dressed & Stylish to see how they wore the trend today.  See you next week in ponchos and capes!

  4. Thanks for showing these ways---I tend to think of these bigger scarves more like a wrap (like you showed), but it's nice to see other options!!

  13. Being only 5ft tall, I tend to steer clear of blanket scarves because they tend to be far too overwhelming for my frame. I do think, however, that I might try wearing one as a dress maybe? :) you look amazing in yours, my friend.
