My Running Uniform + Bootcamp Workout

Leggings c/o // Tank c/o // Bra c/o // Shoes (similar) // Sunglasses c/o // Watch c/o

We all have it - that typical workout outfit that we just love.  Our running (or working out) outfit if you will.  Mine does vary a little from season to season, but most fall, winter and spring, you can find me in running leggings, a tank top and a pair of Nikes.  For colder days I usually throw on a lightweight hooded jacket that I can tie around my waist if I get too warm or put the hood on if I get too cold.  For summer, I switch out the leggings for Nike Tempo running shorts.  This tank top is comfy, a little oversized but not too much that I can feel it when I run.  It flows perfectly with my body as I run.  And guess what, these leggings do not slide down.  Can I get an amen?!  I know all the runners out there understand.  It is SO hard to find a good pair of running leggings that suck in and don't slide down.  This is one of them!  Time to pull out your favorite running uniform because it's time to get back on track.

You may not know this about me, but I'm actually a fitness junkie.  Have I been slacking some here and there since I had Leighton?  Absolutely, but once I get started, I am all in!  A few years ago long before LC and hour drive commutes to work, I actually used to go to bootcamp at 5:30 every morning before work.  I did this for almost 2 years, and I LOVED it!  I've considered doing it again, but since I already only have like 1 hour to myself each day, I decided to try to make my own little bootcamp workout that I could easily do inside or outside!  So whether it's raining or not, I have no excuse, and it only takes 30 minutes a day.  Also, you can do it in your living room, backyard or even at the park.

30 Minute Bootcamp Workout
3-5 minute warmup that consists of jogging or jumping rope.
10 Pushup jump squat thrusts.
50 Jumping jacks.
10 Plank curls per side.
10 Lunges per leg
Repeat workout twice.

I plan to add in some more free moves and free weights soon, but for now I especially wanted to focus on my legs and stomach.  This workout really is a full body workout that can be killer though.  If anyone tries it, let me know what you think!  Make sure you stop back by tomorrow too because I am sharing my running leggings guide.  I'll be sharing 6 different brands of running leggings, pictures of how they look on and the pros and cons of each.  See you tomorrow!

I freakin love Sweaty Betty. Their leggings are probably the best pair I've ever owned and I need more of their stuff in my life. Love the fun print. Good workout gear is always a good motivation!

This is a great workout to do at home on those "tough to get to the gym" days (which seem to be often for me lately!) and I love those leggings.

Love this effortless fitness look - especially the leggings! I'm planning on joining a gym this year, but love doing mini workouts at home, too. Your 30 min workout will be perfect for both! I can't wait to try it, thanks for sharing! xo

Love your workout outfit! I really need to start up my workout routine again....I've gained so much weight (like 20lbs) and lost what little muscle I had built up last spring... I was going to start working out and doing the 21 day fix a few months ago but I ended up getting sick then got my 1st sinus infection....omg, it was hell. I haven't quite been the same since... but i really need to get my butt in gear...but i always seem to feel crappy or no energy... but that's happened before and when I start moving it gets better... (the joys of fibromyalgia)...
