I'm Laura and my husband's name is Shane, and we're both 29. We just recently graduated from the University of Memphis together. I have an IT degree and am now in grad school working on my MBA. I'm a credit analyst, and my husband owns a mobile detailing and pressure washing business in the Memphis area. We were both born and raised in the same small town but now live in Downtown Memphis. We have two yorkies who don't seem to realize that they're not children, Spike and Lola. Spike is 6 and Lola is 5. I am also the proudest aunt to my 1 neice and 2 nephews. I have a passion for trying new foods, traveling, fitness and fashion, and created my blog in December 2012 to chronicle these adventures. Thanks for visiting my blog!

I ran across your absolutely cutest blog on posh mark and saw you were from Memphis so naturally being 1 1/2 hours away from there along with most my family living in rural areas around there, I clicked to check it out. I'm very impressed with your layout and topics and it will be something a visit on a frequent basis. I am in the set up phase of my online boutique "Shabby Dawn Boutique " and are making a lot of contacts and wanted to give you my email address and if you want exchange yours as well so I can let you know when it officially opens. BTW, I live in Cleveland MS where Delta State University is at and I feel strange explaining all this to a stranger but I like to pay attention to people whom make theirselves stand out in one way or another and seem to have go getter attitudes. You seem to possess these qualities and Shabby Dawn B. is my first personally owned business and I am trying to make contacts on and off the web that I could poss. Build a business or customer relationship with. I'm a very outgoing, people person so my philosophy in business is to build bridges with others and never burn them down.   6. Your blog is darling, Laura!
    I REALLY like the header image. I went to Memphis yeaaaaars ago (I think I was 10?) and I remember seeing a sign (downtown Memphis?) that said "This is it" with an arrow pointing downwards to the sidewalk and the sign was all neon and multi-colored... and your blog header image makes me think of that.
